1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in connection with the earthquake that occurred in the southwest of the country, which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries. The head of state, on behalf of the people, the Government of Turkmenistan and himself, expressed words of sympathy and support at this difficult moment to all the relatives and friends of the victims, as well as wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.
2. The keel of the first of two Turkmen dry cargo ships with a deadweight of 6,1 thousand tons was laid at the “Balkan” shipyard in the international seaport of Turkmenbashy. The construction of the dry cargo ships is carried out in partnership with South Korean Koryo Shipbuilding Industry Technology (KSIT). The keel-laying ceremony was attended by the heads of the “Balkan” shipyard and KSIT President Choi Yong-wook. In September 2023, “Balkan” and KSIT signed an agreement on the joint construction of two dry cargo ships with a deadweight of 6100 tons.
3. A delegation of six leading Dutch agro-industrial companies headed by East-West Trade visited Turkmenistan. The visit was organized with the aim of developing cooperation in the agro-industrial sector, exchanging advanced technologies and expanding partnerships.
4. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad. During the meeting, the prospects for bilateral financial and economic cooperation were discussed. The head of state noted the importance of expanding dialogue with international financial institutions and emphasized the high level of interaction with the Saudi Fund for Development.
5. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov accepted credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Belarus to Ashgabat Stanislav Chepurny. During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan expressed confidence that the plenipotentiary representative of Belarus will do everything possible to strengthen and develop fruitful bilateral cooperation.
6. A new showcase dedicated to mushrooms has appeared in the exposition of the Department of Nature and Local History of the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. It displays dummies of cap mushrooms found throughout the country.
