“Real” Madrid's Brazilian striker Vinicius Junior has been named the Globe Soccer Awards' Footballer of the Year. The award ceremony took place in Dubai.
Vinicius Junior beat out such illustrious rivals as Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Globe Soccer Awards, established in 2010, annually recognize outstanding footballers and coaches. Last year, Kylian Mbappe won the award.
