A delegation from Turkmenistan is participating in a training program entitled “Higher Education Management: Collaboration and Commercialization,” which is being held in Washington from December 2 to 20.
Representatives of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the International University for Humanities and Development, the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan and the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan are taking part in the training.
As reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the training was organized at the Institute of International Education within the framework of the US State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
Presentations and a briefing on the public administration and education systems in the United States were held for Turkmen representatives.
The Turkmen delegates told the American side in detail about the areas of work in their universities and plans for the future.
The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is the U.S. Department of State's premier professional exchange program. Through short-term visits to the United States, current and aspiring foreign leaders in a variety of fields gain first-hand knowledge of the country and develop long-term relationships.
