A delegation from the International University for Humanities and Development visited Romania. During the visit, a meeting was held with the leadership of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, one of the largest universities in Romania in the field of engineering technologies.
During the meeting, the Vice-Rector of the Polytechnic University Horia Necula spoke in detail about the history, structure, academic and international activities of the Romanian university and expressed interest in establishing long-term cooperation with the Turkmen university.
In turn, the Vice-Rector of International University for Humanities and Development N. Shikhliev noted promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation, in particular, in the field of information technology.
He emphasized that in this direction, Turkmenistan is implementing a Concept designed until 2025, which is a Roadmap for the technological transformation of all industries and their public management, the formation of a knowledge economy.
The parties proposed to study the possibilities of developing a draft of a double degree program on the 1+1 system in the field of computer technologies.
Following the meeting, the university representatives expressed interest in developing cooperation and organizing work in areas of mutual interest, according to a press release from the International University for Humanities and Development.
