The award ceremony for students who won international Olympiads held in the first ten days of November was held at the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
As reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the main participants of the ceremony were schoolchildren and students of the country, who worthily represented Turkmenistan at the venues of prestigious international competitions.
Thus, the national team of 17 students from secondary schools of Turkmenistan participated for the first time in the World Mental Sports Olympiad MEMORIAD – 2024 and showed excellent results. We wrote about the winners of the Olympiad here.
Scientific developments of Turkmen students received high praise at the 6th International Science and Invention Fair (ISIF), held in the city of Denpasar, Bali Province, Indonesia, from November 5 to 10. The major international event brought together 324 teams from 24 countries.
Following the results of this event, students of grades 11-12 of the specialized secondary boarding school named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashy in Ashgabat distinguished themselves. Davletmyrat Alymuhammedov was awarded a special award and a gold medal, Kerimberdy Myradlyev and Rahmanberdy Odemuradov received gold medals. Oguzhan Mergenov and Muhammetguly Oraznepesov were awarded silver medals.
The winners of gold medals were also 4th-year students of the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, Yaran Hudayberdyev and Kerim Meredov, and the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, Govshut Akmyradov.
The winners were solemnly presented with certificates of honor and valuable gifts on behalf of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, the source notes.
