1. At a regular government meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Annamammedov reported on preparations in Ashgabat for the upcoming New Year holiday. It is planned to decorate New Year trees in the capital's cultural centers, recreation parks, cultural event venues, on avenues, and also to carry out work on festive decoration of the country's main city. Having approved the submitted proposal, the head of Turkmenistan ordered to take appropriate measures in this direction.

2. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has approved a proposal to send Turkmen students to study at higher education institutions in China and Hungary. Young people will study in a number of priority areas, including information technology, medicine, pedagogy and engineering. This decision was made during a government meeting after Deputy Prime Minister Orazdurdyeva presented a report. The head of state emphasized the importance of training highly qualified specialists for the country, noting that thousands of Turkmen young men and women are already receiving education at prestigious foreign educational institutions.

3. The Days of Turkmen Cinema, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan jointly with the Georgian Film Academy, opened in Tbilisi. The event is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the poet Magtymguly Fragi. The opening began with the screening of the film “Composer” by director Maksat Gylyjov. The program also includes the films “Istarin” by Arslan Eyeberdiyev and “Red kurte” by Sahysalyh Bayramov.

4. In December, Ashgabat will host the Turkish Export Goods Exhibition, as well as the next meeting of the Turkmen-Turkish Business Council. More than 70 diverse Turkish companies and associations are expected to participate in the large-scale forum. Mainly, manufacturers and exporters of equipment and technical devices, microclimate control systems, chemicals and building materials, textiles, food and household goods, pharmaceuticals, as well as logistics companies will be represented.

5. Turkmenistan is taking practical measures to strengthen its international financial rating and authority, as well as to build up partnerships with relevant structures, in particular, with the Fitch Ratings Agency. As reported, as a result of the analysis conducted by the above-mentioned organization, Turkmenistan's credit rating increased in August of this year. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that effective work is being carried out to strengthen the country's international financial status, as well as cooperation with reputable rating agencies of the world.

6. In order to organize the digital heritage of Japanese citizens, the National Center for Consumer Rights Protection recommends specifying logins and passwords for online accounts in wills. Including logins and passwords in a testament will give relatives the right to disable paid services and close irrelevant accounts after the owner's death. According to the center's experts, this approach also has an environmental aspect - deleting unused accounts reduces the load on data centers, which helps reduce the carbon footprint.

7. Music streaming service Apple Music has named American singer Billie Eilish the Artist of the Year. 2024 has been a particularly successful year for the artist. 8. Turkmenbashy “Shagadam” won over Balkanabat “Nebichti” in a home match of the 30th round of the Turkmenistan Football Championship. The match ended with a score of 4:3 in favor of the hosts. Musa Nurnazarov scored a double for the winners. Hydyrgeldy Atjanov and Begmurad Arbatov also scored once each.

9. In another match of the day, the “Merv” footballers beat Ashgabat's “Kopetdag”. Shohrad Ovmadov and Serdar Annamamedov scored goals for the winners.
