Tomorrow the International Film Festival “Gorkut Ata” starts in Turkmenistan.
The opening ceremony of the festival will take place in the afternoon at the Ashgabat Mukams Palace. In the morning, a tour of the historical places of Anau, as well as a familiarization trip to the sights of the Turkmen capital, will be organized for guests and participants of the film forum.
The festival will last until November 15. Within its framework, it is expected that filmmakers from the TURKSOY member states will meet and master classes will be held for students of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture.
For two days, the festival's competitive films will be shown at the "Ashgabat" cinema and the "Turkmenistan" and "Watan" cinema and concert centers.
Forum guests will also visit the Magtymguly Fragi park complex, a circus show with the participation of Turkmen horse riders and other locations.
