The State Concern “Turkmennebit” exceeded the planned indicators for oil production by 2,4% and for its refining by 3,4% in the first ten months of 2024. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov at a government meeting.
“The state concern “Türkmennebit” fulfilled its plan for oil production at 102,4 percent, and for its processing at oil refineries at 103,4 percent”, - the State Information Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) quotes Amanova as saying.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, gasoline production for the reporting period amounted to 107,4% of the plan, and lubricating oils – 102,3%. Natural gas exports also exceeded the planned figures, reaching 101,1%.
The plan for investment development in the oil and gas industry was fulfilled by 106,2%, taking into account all sources of financing. During the meeting, indicators for the production of diesel fuel, polypropylene, liquefied gas, and the extraction of natural and associated gas were also presented.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to continue work on increasing hydrocarbon production volumes and expanding export routes for oil and gas supplies to the world market. The head of state paid special attention to the need to improve the efficiency of oil refineries that are part of the State Concern “Turkmennebit”.
It was previously reported that the volume of oil production in Turkmenistan by the end of 2024 is expected to be over 8 million tons.
