Within the framework of the second day of the international conference “Construction, Industry, Energy of Turkmenistan – 2024” (CIET 2024), Director of the Hyundai Engineering C., Ltd branch Ji Hwan made a report on the company's achievements and prospects for cooperation with Turkmenistan.
Since 2009, the South Korean industrial giant has successfully implemented a number of strategically important projects in Turkmenistan. Among the company's key achievements are the construction of a gas desulphurization plant at the Galkynysh field, the construction of a modern gas processing plant at the Garakol-Deniz-Zapad coastal terminal, and the creation of a large polyethylene and polypropylene production complex in Gyyanly.
“We aim to become a leader in creating a sustainable future for humanity”, - Ji Hwan emphasized, noting that the company is actively developing new areas, including hydrogen production and CO2 utilization technologies.
Particular attention in the speech was paid to the current cooperation with the State Concern “Turkmenhimiya”. Hyundai Engineering expressed interest in participating in the international tender for stabilization and bringing the Gyyanly Polymer Plant to its design capacity.
“The launch of this plant is of great importance for the development of related industries in Turkmenistan”, - the branch director noted.
The company also plans to participate in tenders of the State Concern “Turkmengaz” for the development of new stages of the Galkynysh field in the Mary velayat.
