Two new power plants were launched in Turkmenistan: Etrek with a capacity of 220 kV in the Balkan velayat and Bagyr with a capacity of 110 kV in Ashgabat, TDH reports.
The power plants are equipped with modern equipment from leading global manufacturers. During construction, special attention was paid to compliance with environmental requirements, which is in line with the state policy of a responsible approach to environmental protection issues during the implementation of large energy projects.
During the opening ceremony, outstanding builders received gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
