In Turkmenistan, as part of the Turkmen Alabay Day, celebrated on the last Sunday of October, the International Competition “The Bravest Alabay of 2024” was held.
The winner of the show was chosen from among the 10 best representatives of the breed, selected at the preliminary stages of the competition in various regions of the country.
The title of "The Bravest Alabay of the Year” was awarded to the Turkmen Alabay Akgush, owned by Ashgabat resident Rasul Kerimov.
The dog breeder was awarded the main prize of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov – the keys to a Toyota Camry, a special medal, a challenge cup and a diploma.
The winners of the creative competition for the artistic depiction of the Turkmen Alabay in works of fine and decorative arts were also announced. They received the corresponding certificates and valuable gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
