Today, October 23, the XXIX International Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2024” (OGT-2024) began its work in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the correspondent of Turkmenportal reports. The organizers of the large-scale industry forum are the state concerns “Türkmengaz”, “Türkmennebit” and the state corporation “Türkmengeologiýa”.
The grand opening ceremony brought together government representatives, heads of relevant departments, heads of diplomatic missions, international organizations and leading oil and gas companies. The event began with a performance by creative groups presenting national dances and songs.
The key moment of the ceremony was the welcoming address by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which the head of state emphasized the importance of the forum for demonstrating the strategy for the development of the Turkmen fuel and energy complex and the introduction of modern technologies taking into account environmental safety.
The exhibition provides a unique platform for foreign companies from the oil and gas, metallurgy, chemical, mechanical engineering and energy industries. Participants can not only demonstrate their products, but also expand partnerships, which contributes to the integration of the Turkmen fuel and energy complex into the global energy system.
The exhibition covers all aspects of the industry: from exploration and production to transportation and storage of hydrocarbons. Particular attention is paid to offshore projects in the Caspian Sea and the development of renewable energy sources. Among the main participants of the exhibition are leading state companies of Turkmenistan and dozens of private enterprises operating in the fuel and energy complex of the country.
We also note that in the afternoon the International Conference “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2024” will begin, where global trends in the development of energy markets, opportunities for cooperation and attracting foreign investment for the development of new fields will be discussed.
