President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a letter to the head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which he expressed sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the warm welcome and exceptional hospitality extended to the Kazakh delegation during the official visit to Turkmenistan on October 10-11, 2024, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The President of Kazakhstan also confirmed his invitation to the President of Turkmenistan to visit Kazakhstan on an official visit at any convenient time.
“I highly appreciate the results of our substantive negotiations, which laid a solid foundation for the further development of Kazakh-Turkmen multifaceted relations.
The Declaration on Strengthening Friendship and Deepening Multifaceted Strategic Partnership that we signed opened a new milestone in our interstate cooperation, and a solid package of agreements defined the main areas of bilateral cooperation”, - the statement said.
President Tokayev also expressed special gratitude for organizing the grand opening of the monument to the great Kazakh writer and philosopher Abai Kunanbayev in Ashgabat, noting the importance of preserving the common cultural and historical heritage. In addition, he congratulated Turkmenistan on the successful holding of the international event dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi, emphasizing its importance for glorifying the legacy of the great thinker.
In conclusion, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov further success in his government activities and prosperity to the brotherly people of Turkmenistan.
