President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an Order to hold the International Competition “Yylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy” in Ashgabat on October 27, 2024, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The celebration will also include competitions among carpet weavers, artists, sculptors, photographers, publishing workers and TV cameramen. These competitions will be dedicated to the artistic depiction of the image of Turkmen Alabai in works of fine and decorative arts, publishing products, photographs and TV channels. The President also approved the composition of the jury to evaluate the participants' works, the source notes.
The document was signed in order to further increase the world fame of the Turkmen Alabai, which is a national treasure and pride of the Turkmen people.
