National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he got acquainted with the projects of buildings planned for the second stage of the city’s development. During the visit, he heard information about their decorative features and held a working meeting with the participation of relevant leaders, TDH reports.
During the trip, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the projects of modern buildings that will be built as part of the second stage of the development of the city of Arkadag. Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan Derya Orazov reported on the pace of construction of buildings for various purposes, including an artistic carpet-making enterprise, features of the external decoration of the main building of the complex and equipping of other social facilities.
Particular attention was paid to the project of an artistic carpet-making enterprise, which will become an important element of the architectural appearance of the new city. At the request of the residents of Arkadag, a decision was made at the state level to build this enterprise, which will create new jobs and make a significant contribution to the development of carpet weaving art in Turkmenistan. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of using modern digital technologies and innovative lighting solutions in the external decoration of the enterprise.
The National Leader also noted that the external decoration of the carpet enterprise should reflect elements of the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, such as images of the dagdan tree and the “goçak” pattern. He instructed to carefully study these issues and make appropriate adjustments.
During the visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the project of a new park and road and transport infrastructure facilities in the city of Arkadag. He made comments and made adjustments, emphasizing the importance of convenience and comfort for city residents. Particular attention was paid to the improvement of areas adjacent to ring roads and the features of their lighting.
At a working meeting held with the participation of the Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the city of Arkadag D. Orazov and the head of the city administration G. Mammedova, issues of preparation for the VI Vienna Ball, which will be held in Arkadag, were discussed. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that holding such events confirms the status of the city as a center for international forums.
Information was also presented on the nomination “Akhal-Teke horse breeding art and horse decoration traditions” included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In the coming days, the city of Arkadag will be presented with a corresponding certificate, which will emphasize the international recognition of Turkmenistan’s efforts to preserve and develop this art.
At the end of the working meeting, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished the participants success in solving the tasks set and left the scene.
