The 6th World Invention Competition and Exhibition (WICE), organized by the Indonesian Young Scientists Association and MAHSA University, was held in Kuala Lumpur. This prestigious international competition was attended by 126 talented schoolchildren from 15 countries, including four students from the Ashgabat Specialized General Education Boarding School named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashy, the website of the country's Ministry of Education reports.
Turkmen schoolchildren demonstrated outstanding results. 11th-grade student Myratlyev Kerimberdi was awarded a special prize and a gold medal for the project «Novalorep Website». 12th-grade student Mergenov Oguzhan was awarded a silver medal for the project «Warehouse with a controlled atmosphere». 11th-grade students Odemyradov Rahmanberdi and Arslanov Ayhan also received silver medals for the projects «E-auto Website» and «E-rent Website» respectively.
The team of Turkmen schoolchildren was led by computer science teacher Ovezgeldi Janaliev.
