President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree approving the Strategy for the Development of Science in Turkmenistan for the period from 2024 to 2052, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The document is aimed at conducting modern scientific research, introducing scientific achievements into the economy and expanding interaction between education, science and production.
According to the decree, the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the relevant ministries are obliged to ensure the implementation of the measures envisaged in the Strategy. The action plan for 2024–2028 includes specific steps to achieve the set goals, such as the formation of a generation of young scientists with innovative thinking and a broad outlook.
