Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers Mammethan Chakyev reported on the work being done to improve the qualifications of civil aviation personnel. This information was announced during a government meeting, writes the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The training will be organized on the basis of the “Turkmenhowayollary” Agency Aviation Personnel Training School under the program of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The program includes plans to conduct specialized courses to increase cargo turnover at the country's international airports, efficiently use the capacity of cargo warehouses, and increase the number of international cargo shipments.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the dynamic development of the civil aviation industry requires training of international level specialists. Having approved the proposal to organize training, the head of state instructed the head of the Agency to carry out appropriate work in this direction.
