18 international agreements signed on the sidelines of the TIF-2024 Investment Forum

At the Turkmenistan Investment Forum (TIF 2024) in Ashgabat, 18 agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed between Turkmen state and private enterprises and foreign companies, nCa reports.

The signing ceremony was held on the second day of the forum, covering a wide range of industries, including energy, textiles, chemicals, shipbuilding, railway equipment, ecology and logistics.

List of signed documents:

1. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Turkmenistan and AIM Global Foundation
2. Memorandum of Intent between “Turkmengaz” and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to strengthen cooperation between the countries in the gas industry
3. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Textile Industry between the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan and “Astaş Endüstri Tekstil Makinaları Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.” (Türkiye)
4. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Textile Industry between the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan and “Menderes Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.” (Türkiye)
5. Memorandum of Understanding between the State Concern “Turkmenhimiya” and the company “Wuhuan Engineering Limited” (China) on interest in cooperation for the development of the chemical industry of Turkmenistan
6. Memorandum of Understanding between the State Concern “Turkmenhimiya” and “Asos Proses Makina A.S.” (Türkiye) on interest in cooperation in the development of the chemical industry of Turkmenistan.
7. Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between “Balkan” Shipyard and Ship Repair Yard and the Korea Shipbuilding and Marine Equipment Association (KOMEA)
8. Agreement on the sale and purchase of diesel fuel (L-0.5-62) between the State Concern “Turkmennebit” and the company “Emran Shohran Limited” (Afghanistan)
9. Agreement on the sale and purchase of liquefied gas between the State Concern “Turkmennebit” and the company “Jawad Oil and Gas Ltd.” (Afghanistan).
10. Agreement on the sale and purchase of liquefied gas between the State Concern “Turkmennebit” and the company “Alat” (Uzbekistan)
11. Agreement on the sale and purchase of liquefied gas between the State Concern “Turkmengaz” and the company “Engineering Gaz Avto service” (Uzbekistan)
12. Agreement between the State Concern “Turkmengaz” and Calik Energy (Türkiye) on the design, construction, equipment and commissioning of the “Shatlyk-1” gas compressor station in the Mary velayat.
13. Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the State Concern “Turkmenhimiya”, “Mitsubishi Heavy Industries limited” (Japan) and “Mitsubishi Corporation” (Japan) in the field of supplies and provision of comprehensive technical services for the needs of the “Garabogaz” urea plant.
14. Cooperation Agreement between the National Institute of Deserts, Flora and Fauna (under the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan) and the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
15. Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the “Turkmenpost” company (under the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency) and the Kyrgyz Postal Company “Kyrgyz Pochtasy”.
16. Agreement between JSC “Demiryollary” (Turkmen Railways) and “China Railway Material Honkong & Makau Company” (China) on the purchase of machined axles of locomotive wheel sets (400 units) and 800 units of tires for wheel sets.
17. Memorandum of Understanding between the “Turkmendomen” ES and “European Networks”.
18. Agreement between JSC “Turkmendemiryollary” (Turkmen Railways) and “Atoil Himiya we petrol urunleri” (Türkiye) on the purchase of necessary spare parts for the repair of diesel generators for railway passenger cars.

TIF 2024 brought together more than 1156 guests and participants, and more than 77 bilateral meetings were held within the framework of the forum. This event became an important platform for strengthening Turkmenistan's international ties and attracting foreign investment in various sectors of the country's economy.
