A meeting with the Director for Regional Development of the British Foreign Office was held in Ashgabat

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova met with Director of Regional Development at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Sarah Cooper, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the international investment forum TIF-2024.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the parties discussed active dialogue between the two countries in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian areas.

Particular attention was paid to the prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in the field of climate change, green technologies, development of private entrepreneurship and teaching English in Turkmenistan, the source notes.
