Turkmenistan continues to strengthen its role in the international transport infrastructure. At the recent talks in Tehran between the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, an initiative to create a new transport and transit corridor Armenia-Iran-Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan was announced, TDH reports.

This route promises to become an important link in the international transport network, promoting the development of trade ties and economic integration in the region.

The development of the transport sector is a key area of the state policy of Turkmenistan, implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The country's favorable geographical position and significant investments in transport infrastructure allow Turkmenistan to play an important role in transit traffic between Asia and Europe.

The new corridor Armenia-Iran-Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan will be an important addition to the existing routes and will open up new opportunities for international cooperation and sustainable development, the source notes.
