1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov dismissed the hyakims of several etraps of the Mary velayat and the city of Mary. Kakageldi Saryev was appointed to the post of hyakim of the city of Mary. The administration of the Vekilbazar etrap was headed by Dayanch Atamyradov, and Muhametserdar Ashyrov was appointed head of the Tahtabazar etrap.

4. A regional training on cultural heritage education for teachers of the Network of UNESCO Associated Schools in Central Asia was held in Almaty. A delegation from Turkmenistan took part in the event. The key theme of the event was the integration of cultural heritage into school teaching in order to improve the quality of education and awareness of the importance of living heritage.

5. A new study published in the Journal of the American Heart Association shows that poor working conditions may negatively impact heart health. Scientists observed almost 6000 office workers of both sexes for 18 years who initially had no problems with the cardiovascular system. By the end of the study, 186 cases of atrial fibrillation had been recorded. The results showed that employees who regularly work overtime have an 83% higher risk of developing atrial fibrillation compared to those who work normally.
6. Famous Turkish actor Burak Ozcivit is preparing for his first appearance in Russian cinema. Ozchivit will play one of the leading roles in the New Year comedy “Yolki 11”. Burak Ozchivit’s partner on the set will be Ruzil Minekaev, known from the series “The Boy’s Word.”

7. "Ahal” successfully started in the third round of the 2024 Turkmenistan Football Championship. In the 19th round, the team won with a score of 3:0 over Ashgabat.
