Turkmen “Altyn Asyr” beat Indian “East Bengal” away in the qualifying match of the second AFC Champions League 2024/25 and reached the group stage of the tournament.
The meeting, held today in Kolkata, ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of Yazguly Hojageldyev’s team. Among the winners, Murat Annaev (18th minute), Selim Nurmuradov (28th minute) and Mikhail Titov (52nd minute) scored goals.
The opponents of the Ashgabat club in the group round of the AFC-2 Champions League will be determined based on the results of the draw, which will be held on August 16 in Kuala Lumpur. “Altyn Asyr” will fall into the fourth basket.
