National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag. During the visit, he got acquainted with the designs of production facilities that will be built in the new city, and from a helicopter inspected the work carried out at the second stage of construction, the Watan information program reported.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a number of comments on the presented projects and made appropriate adjustments. The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized the importance of a harmonious combination of the artistic carpet weaving enterprise with the architectural appearance of the city, its environmental level and the location of buildings. Also, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty gave specific instructions to the leaders on these issues.

During the flight from Ashgabat to Arkadag, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the work in the city, the location of buildings and the movement of transport routes from a bird’s eye view. The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted the importance of compliance with environmental requirements during the construction of the production complex and gave instructions on the placement of related facilities.

In addition, the head of the Halk Maslahaty inspected the sites for the construction of a medical cluster, which will help modernize the healthcare system, increase the potential of the national economy and create new jobs. This is also important for improving the social security of the population of the new city and increasing its export capabilities.
