Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov made a working visit to Iran, where he took part in the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, TDH reports.
During the visit, Meredov conveyed congratulations and best wishes on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The President of Iran, in turn, expressed warm words of greeting to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, noting their contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, issues of strengthening partnerships in the fuel and energy sector, electric power industry and transport and transit areas were discussed.
