1. At a working meeting on the agricultural sector, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced personnel changes in the leadership of some velayats. Rovshen Hojagulyev, the mayor of the Ahal velayat, has been relieved of his post due to his transfer to another job. Soltanmyrat Soltanmyradov, who previously held the post of mayor of the Dashoguz velayat, has been appointed in his place. Dovletgeldy Babayev has been appointed mayor of the Dashoguz velayat. Before that, he headed the Research Institute of Grain Growing of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan. The governor of Lebap velayat, Shohrat Amangeldyev, was also relieved of his post due to his transfer to another job. His place will be taken by Maksat Annanepesov, who previously headed the Research Institute of Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan.
2. Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov arrived in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iran's new President Masoud Pezeshkian. The ceremony will take place today in the Iranian parliament. Meredov's visit is being carried out by order of the President of Turkmenistan. Earlier on July 26, at a government meeting, the head of Turkmenistan emphasized that Iran is one of the country's closest neighbors and partners, with which friendly and fraternal relations have been established.
3. The most important area of international economic cooperation of Turkmenistan is partnership in the energy sector. In this context, on July 29, meetings of the heads of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan with representatives of ADNOC and Hyundai were held. During the talks with the ADNOC delegation, issues of implementation of the third stage of the “Galkynysh” field were discussed. The parties reviewed the legal, commercial, investment and technical aspects of the project, as well as its connection with the advancement of the “Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India” (TAPI) gas pipeline. ADNOC expressed its readiness to cooperate with oil and gas companies from Kazakhstan. In parallel, consultations were held with a delegation from Hyundai Engineering on the development of the fourth phase of the “Galkynysh” field. Both parties emphasized the importance of legal support and organization of work, and expressed their readiness to continue regular meetings for the successful implementation of the project.
4. The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree on the dismissal of Akjemal Kerimberdievna Durdyeva from the post of Chairperson of the National Center of Trade Unions and Chairperson of the Central Council of the Women's Union in connection with her transfer to another job. According to the decree of the head of state, Oguljennet Kakadurdyevna Berdiliyeva, who previously held the post of Deputy hyakim of the Lebap velayat for Education, Culture, Health and Sports, was elected as the new Chairperson of the National Center of Trade Unions and Chairperson of the Central Council of the Women's Union.

After the incident, Wu developed problems with his left eye: redness and swelling. The doctors' initial diagnosis - seasonal conjunctivitis - turned out to be erroneous. The prescribed treatment did not help, and the patient's condition worsened. When he returned to the hospital, it turned out that the man had killed a drain fly on his face, which led to a bacterial infection. By this time, the injured eye had almost lost its sight, and ulcers had formed around it.
6. Belgium's national railway company plans to equip all intercity trains with special “quiet carriages”. In these carriages, passengers are advised to follow a number of rules: refrain from talking on the phone, use headphones at minimum volume, turn off the sound on mobile devices, and communicate in a whisper. A similar practice already exists in a number of European countries, including Austria, Poland, the Netherlands, and Germany.

7. At the Olympic Games in Paris, the qualifying competitions in women's 100-meter backstroke were held, in which 17 years old swimmer from Turkmenistan Ainura Primova took part. She finished third in her heat, but this was not enough to reach the semi-finals. Primova became one of the youngest participants in the Olympic swimming competitions.
8. 19 years old Maysa Pardayeva, representing Turkmenistan in judo, has finished her performance at the Olympic Games in Paris. The Turkmen judoka reached the 1/8 finals in the 57 kg weight category. The Olympic debutant won the first round over Chinese athlete Kai Qi. In the second round, Pardayeva met a more experienced opponent, 32 years old Brazilian Rafaela Silva, the 2016 Olympic champion and two-time world champion. Despite a tough fight, the Turkmen athlete lost to her opponent, ending her participation in the tournament.
