Turkmen riders won silver and bronze in the overall ranking of the Silk Way Rally 2024

The 14th international Silk Road rally marathon ended in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar. During the 11 days of the race, about a hundred crews from 13 countries covered 5,243 kilometers, driving through the picturesque Altai Mountains and the sands of the Gobi Desert.

In the classification of serial T2 SUVs, racers from the team of the Federation of Automobile Sports of Turkmenistan took prizes. Brothers Merdan and Shohrat Toylyev won silver medals, and bronze medals went to their teammates Maksatmyrat Danatarov and Didar Orazmedov. The crew of Meilis Abdullaev and Italmaz Charyev finished the race in fifth place. The winner was the Russian crew of Andrey Sushentsov and Alexander Shchanov from the S&A Racing team.

The rally took place from July 5 to July 15 across Russia and Mongolia. The start was given in Tomsk, and the finish took place in Ulaanbaatar. This year the project celebrated its 15th anniversary.
