The Turkmen crew of Maksatmyrat Danatarov from the team of the Automobile Sports Federation of Turkmenistan became the winner of the eighth stage of the “Silk Way” rally Marathon in the T2 serial SUV category, silkwayrally.com reports.
Second place was taken by another Turkmen crew led by Merdan Toylyev, who was 13 minutes behind the winner, and the Russian crew of Andrei Sushentsov took third (19 minutes behind).
The ninth stage, the length of which will be 422,69 km, will take place on Saturday, July 13.
The “Silk Way” rally finishes on July 15 in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar.
