1. Negotiations were held in Ashgabat between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres. The parties discussed issues of developing partnership in various directions. The head of Turkmenistan awarded the UN Secretary General with the medal “For the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi".
2. In Ashgabat, Antonio Guterres attended the opening ceremony of a new building for the UN Office in Turkmenistan. In his speech, he expressed confidence that Turkmenistan-UN cooperation will continue to develop dynamically in all priority areas.
3. National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Europe, Central Asia, the Americas Miroslav Jenca. The UN Assistant Secretary-General noted the importance of Turkmenistan’s peace-loving policy laid down by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, and expressed hope for new initiatives of Turkmenistan at the upcoming “Future Summit” in September. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to Masoud Pezeshkian on his election to the post of President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
4. In Ashgabat, another park will be built on the site of the “World of Fairy Tales of Turkmenbashy” entertainment park. The Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, by order of the Ashgabat hyakimlik, announced a competition for the construction of a new park. Requests and proposals from interested parties are accepted until August 16 at the Department of Market Research and Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture.
5. Voting for deputies to the Mejlis has ended in Ashgabat. In the elections, more than 90% of voters voted before 19:00. The Mejlis of Turkmenistan, being a representative body exercising legislative power, actively participates in state policy, as well as in the implementation of large-scale reforms and comprehensive development programs.
6. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of the country, sent sincere congratulations to Keir Starmer on his assumption of office as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Having highly appreciated the friendly relations between the countries, the President of Turkmenistan expressed firm confidence in their further development and strengthening in the interests of the two peoples.

7. YouTube has introduced an updated version of its Erase Song tool, which can now more accurately remove copyrighted music from videos. However, the new technology preserves other audio elements, such as dialogue and sound effects. YouTube CEO Neil Mohan noted that an advanced artificial intelligence-based algorithm can accurately detect and remove copyrighted music. This makes the job of content creators much easier.
8. Mark O'Hara, founder of UK company Preqin, has shown extraordinary generosity since selling his business. Instead of keeping all the profits for himself, O'Hara decided to share an impressive 650 million USD with his employees. This noble gesture follows the sale of Preqin, a financial market analysis company, to US giant BlackRock. O'Hara founded Preqin in 2002, and over two decades the firm has grown to serve more than 200 thousand clients worldwide.

9. All participants in the semi-final matches of the European Football Championship have been determined. The last team to enter the top four was the Netherlands, beating the Turkish team with a score of 2:1. In the semi-finals, the Netherlands will meet with the England team, which defeated the Swiss in a penalty shootout. The semi-final match between the Netherlands and England will be held on July 10 in Dortmund. The second semi-final between the national teams of Spain and France will be held on July 9 in Munich. Both meetings will begin at 23:45 Ashgabat time.
10. The Azerbaijani football club "Turan-Tovuz" played its first match at the training camp in Gabala under the leadership of the new head coach Kurban Berdiyev. The team won a convincing victory over Shamkir with a score of 13:0. 11. On July 5, the international rally “Silk Way 2024” was launched, in which racers from Turkmenistan participate. This large-scale competition will last 11 days and finish on July 15 in the capital of Mongolia. The crew of the Toilyev brothers from Turkmenistan, after three stages, remains in close proximity to the leaders. This year's race route runs through the picturesque routes of Siberia and Altai, and then goes to Mongolia. The total length of the rally will be 5256,70 km, of which 2993,24 km are high-speed sections. Riders will have to overcome a variety of climatic zones, including the unique sands of the Mongol Els and the northern regions of the Gobi Desert.
