Reformist candidate Masoud Pezeshkian won the second round of the presidential elections in Iran, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the head of the election commission, Mohsen Eslami.

According to the election commission, after counting 30 million 573,9 thousand votes, voter turnout was 49,8 percent.

69-year-old Masoud Pezeshkian is known as a reformist politician. He is a member of the Iranian parliament for the last five convocations.
