1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations to the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in honor of Independence Day. On behalf of the people and the Government, as well as personally on his own behalf, the head of Turkmenistan expressed his best wishes to all the people of Belarus.
2. Hero of Turkmenistan and Russia, test cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko expressed sincere gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for congratulations on his 60th anniversary. Kononenko, who celebrated his anniversary on June 21 on board the ISS, thanked him for his attention and warm wishes. On June 5, Kononenko became the first person to reach 1000 days in space.
3. Turkmenistan is negotiating the opening of trading houses in Tajikistan, Japan and other countries. Trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, the Near and Middle East, Europe and Latin America are actively developing on a bilateral and multilateral basis. Joint projects are being successfully implemented in such important areas as digitalization of the economy and its development through diversification, support for the private sector, and transit corridors.
4. The “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency is launching a competition of innovative projects “Digital Solution - 2024”, aimed at the development of digital technologies in Turkmenistan. The competition is held in seven areas: artificial intelligence, robotics and automation, smart agricultural technologies, smart city, education and e-learning, digital medicine and service system. 5. A student of the Specialized Music Boarding School at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, Ylham Orazmammedov, became the winner of a prestigious international online competition. He was awarded the title of 1st degree laureate in the piano section at the 15th World Open Music Competition, organized by the European Association of Music Teachers and Performers. The young pianist demonstrated exceptional skill, scoring 97,73 points out of 100 possible.
6. A solemn ceremony honoring graduates was held at the Myrat Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan. This year they became about 600 young specialists, including a large group of holders of diplomas with honors.

7. A team of researchers from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland has made the discovery that ants, like humans, are capable of carrying out medical procedures to save their fellows. Observations have shown that insects are able to recognize damage on the limbs of relatives and treat them by cleaning or even amputation. Scientists note that this is the first known example of systematic amputation among insects.
8. In Hubei Province, China, a 90-year-old woman surnamed Qin used a hand grenade as a household tool for 20 years, unaware of its true purpose. Qin discovered a “strange metal object with a wooden handle” in her field about two decades ago. Mistaking it for a homemade hammer, she began using the find for various household needs: cracking nuts, grinding peppers and hammering nails. The true nature of the object was only recently revealed when workers demolishing an old house identified it as a hand grenade. It turned out that all this time the pensioner had been using a live ammunition, risking her life with each use.

9. Athletes of Turkmenistan won 21 medals at the Asian and Oceanian Sambo Championships in Macau. Athletes from 20 countries took part in the competition. In the medal standings, the Turkmenistan team took third place, with 2 gold, 6 silver and 13 bronze awards. The head of the Sambo Union of Asia and Oceania, Alamjon Mullayev, noted the high level of organization of the tournament and the expansion of the geography of medalists.
10. On Tuesday, the last participants in the quarterfinals of the European Football Championship in Germany were determined. Türkiye defeated the Austrian team with a score of 2:1, and the Dutch team defeated the Romanian team with a score of 3:0. In the quarterfinals, which will be held on July 6 in Berlin, the Turkish team will meet the Netherlands.
11. The Turkmenistan swimming team is holding a training camp at the sports base in Batumi, a resort city on the Black Sea coast of Georgia. 12 athletes, under the leadership of the senior coach of the national team Dmitry Novikov and the coach of the winter and water sports school Mark Pilyugin, are preparing for international competitions.
