The Ulyanovsk region of the Russian Federation was represented by a large delegation at the meeting of the Business Councils of Turkmenistan and Russia, held in Ashgabat.
The results of the participation of the Ulyanovsk delegation were commented on by the head of the regional center “My Business” Ruslan Gainetdinov, reports ulpressa.ru.
“We are one of the few regions of the Russian Federation that is actively developing cooperation with Turkmenistan at the level of business missions. We formulated the main proposals for the development of bilateral trade cooperation, including within the framework of our logistics project “Middle Volga – Caspian – Persian Gulf”. During the meeting, they also discussed the creation of a dealer center for Ulyanovsk goods on the territory of the republic. We held negotiations with our partner company AK GAYÁ, which has its own network of construction supermarkets and wholesale trade. They are interested in purchasing stone sinks, doors, upholstered furniture, gas equipment, tools, roofing and paint materials,” said R. Gainetdinov.
According to him, the governor of the Ulyanovsk region set them the task of increasing foreign trade by 30%.
“Turkmenistan is one of the promising destinations for export. Now regional manufacturers are already supplying electrical equipment, auto and aircraft components, and construction materials,” he added.
