Since June 23, Uzbekistan has been hosting an International Ecological Camp, in which young people from Turkmenistan also took part.

Among the forum participants are environmental activists from all countries of Central Asia, as well as from Azerbaijan, Hungary and Turkey. The MIC reports this.

The camp will last until June 30. The forum program is divided into 2 stages, the events of which take place in two cities. In particular, from June 23 to 26, events were held in Samarkand, and from June 27 to 30 – in Tashkent.

In Tashkent, participants visit eco-schools and the Green University, where they listen to lectures by leading experts in the field of ecology.

As part of the cultural program, the participants of the youth forum visited the historical places of Samarkand: the Gur-Emir Mausoleum, the Shahi-Zinda complex and the Ulugbek Observatory.

The forum is organized by the International Public Fund Zamin, the Ministry of Environment of Uzbekistan, UNICEF, UNDP and FAO.
