Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov sent a congratulatory letter to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi, TDH reports.
In his message, the governor noted the significance of Magtymguly’s creative heritage for the Turkmen people and world culture. Beglov emphasized the relevance of the poet’s ideas, reflecting universal human values: love of the Motherland, love of peace, desire for creation and friendship between peoples.
The governor expressed gratitude to President Berdimuhamedov for his attention to the development of cooperation with St. Petersburg. He said that various events dedicated to the anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi are being held in the Northern capital of Russia, including memorable evenings, concerts and interactive events.
Alexander Beglov also noted the successes of Turkmenistan under the leadership of Serdar Berdimuhamedov in implementing national development programs and wished the President good health and the people of Turkmenistan well-being and prosperity.
