Türkiye’s flagship carrier, Turkish Airlines, has once again confirmed its status as a leader in European aviation by receiving the prestigious “Best Airline in Europe” award at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2024. This is the ninth such recognition for the company.
The awards ceremony, often referred to as the “Oscars of the aviation industry”, was held on June 24 at the famous Windsor Fairmont Park in London. In addition to the main award, Turkish Airlines was also awarded as “Best Airline in Southern Europe” and received the prize for “World's Best Business Class Catering”.
Turkish Airlines CEO, Bilal Ekshi, expressed his deep gratitude to the passengers and Skytrax team for appreciating the company's efforts. He emphasized the airline's commitment to continuous improvement of service and innovation based on the traditions of Turkish hospitality.
The airline continues to expand its route network, recently adding flights to Melbourne, allowing it to cover all six continents. Turkish Airlines also pays great attention to the sustainability of aviation, implementing projects aimed at creating an environmentally friendly future.
