President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touq Al-Marri, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the Turkmenistan-UAE business forum, TDH reports.
The Minister conveyed greetings from the President of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and emphasized the importance of strengthening relations with Turkmenistan. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the UAE is a long-term partner of Turkmenistan, and the dialogue is built on mutual respect.
During the discussion of the prospects for further partnership, the parties discussed the development of political dialogue and interaction within the UN, the growth of bilateral trade turnover, cooperation in the fuel and energy complex, prospects in the field of renewable energy and the development of international transport corridors.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov invited Emirati companies to participate in large international energy projects carried out in Turkmenistan.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the further successful development of interstate dialogue on a mutually beneficial basis.
