Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Parahat Durdyev presented his credentials to the new President of Vietnam To Lam. The award ceremony was held in Hanoi on June 21.
The Ambassador conveyed greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed to the President of Vietnam, and also confirmed the interest of the Turkmen side in striving to expand friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Vietnam in various directions.
For his part, To Lam expressed deep gratitude for the warm greetings and wishes sent to him, and asked to convey reciprocal friendly greetings to the leadership of Turkmenistan.
The parties exchanged views on the agenda of Turkmen-Vietnamese relations, covering various areas of interstate interaction, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
Let us remindl that in 2019, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the People’s Republic of China Durdyev Parahat Hommadovich was appointed both the country’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam with residence in Beijing.
