This year, Turkmenistan Culture Week will be held in the new “smart” city of Arkadag from June 22 to 27.
The theme of the Week is dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi, as well as the first anniversary of the city of Arkadag, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
As part of the Culture Week 2024, a screening of the feature film “Composer” and the premiere of the play “Alem Nury” are expected on the stage of the State Drama Theater named after Aman Gulmammedov.
The State Equestrian Circus named after Görogly prepared a theatrical performance Göroglynyň döreýşi.
Poetry evenings will also be organized in Arkadag, and the winners of the competition announced in honor of the motto of the year “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” will be awarded.
In addition, exhibitions and creative meetings will be held at the Museum of History and Local Lore of the city of Arkadag and the Dovletmammed Azadi Library.
Let us remember that during the first year of its existence, Arkadag hosted the Vienna Ball and the International Film Festival. Scientific conferences, cultural and educational events and educational events are regularly held here.
