Turkmen specialists of the Open Joint Stock Company Derýaýollary have completed the construction of the hull of the second dredger called ÇIZ-O1M. This is the second project of this kind, implemented by the company’s own resources, after the successful launch of the first independently built LS-7 machine ten years ago. The newspaper “Neutral Turkmenistan” reports this.
The new ÇIZ-O1M dredger has a design capacity of 250 cubic meters of soil per hour, which significantly exceeds the capabilities of the previous model. Mastering the production of such machines will reduce dependence on imports and meet the needs of the country's water sector for cleaning and deepening the bottom of irrigation systems.
Derýaýollary specialists demonstrated high professionalism by developing designs for both machines independently. The successful implementation of these projects testifies to the company’s ability to establish complex production, the source notes.
In addition to the construction of dredgers, Derýaýollary’s activities include the transportation of goods, the organization of pontoon crossings across the Amu Darya, ship repair and the provision of river sand to builders. In particular, a new pontoon crossing was recently opened near the village of Pelvert, which significantly reduced the time for delivering goods and passengers to the right bank region.
The company is also involved in the construction of residential buildings and offers boat trips on the Watan vessel in the summer.
