On the eve of the qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup between the national teams of Turkmenistan and Hong Kong, events are planned with the participation of the teams.
Today, June 10, at 19:45 there will be an official press conference of the Turkmenistan national team, after which at 20:00 the team will hold an open training session for media representatives.
Guests from Hong Kong will also have the opportunity to speak with the press. Their press conference will begin at 17:45, and the team will begin pre-match training at 18:00.
All events with the participation of the teams will be held at the “Ashgabat” stadium, where the match itself will be held on June 11 at 20:00 local time.
On the eve of the match, a traditional pre-match meeting with representatives of FIFA, AFC, football federations and other involved structures was held in the conference room of the “Archabil” hotel. At the meeting, organizational issues were agreed upon and the game colors of the team uniforms were determined. The hosts will wear white and the guests will wear red uniforms.
According to FFT, a team of referees from Lebanon headed by Abo Yehia Hussein was appointed as the referee for the match. His compatriots Omeirat Rabih and Mokdad Ali will serve as assistants.
