Today begins a two-day state visit of the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol to Turkmenistan.
According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, this visit will be the first state visit of the President of the Republic of Korea to the country in the last five years since 2019.
During the visit of President Yun Suk-Yeol, fruitful discussions are planned on issues aimed at the development of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea. In particular, it is expected that key and promising areas such as energy and smart cities will be considered.
Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol has been active in promoting global peace and prosperity since taking office, striving to make Korea a “key global state”. Under his chairmanship, the Second World Artificial Intelligence Summit was held in Seoul in May of this year, and the Korea-Africa Summit took place last week.
