Turkmenaragatnashyk representatives participate in the 60th CIS Telecommunications Meeting in Minsk

June 4, representatives of the Turkmenaragatsnaşyk agency took part in the 60th meeting of the heads of communications administrations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries. The high-level event, organized in Minsk, was attended by representatives of Turkmenistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as heads and representatives of the regional communications community of the CIS countries, the Universal Postal Union, the Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS, and the CIS Economic Council.

Accelerating economic development through digitalization

At the international conference, along with the heads of the telecommunications sector of the CIS countries, the head of the Turkmenaragatsnaşyk agency H. Hudaygulyyev delivered a speech, in which he discussed important issues of the communications sector, such as accelerating the pace of economic development through the widespread use of the digital system, ensuring the security of the information system, creating and offering the population modern, high-quality, competitive communication services.

Turkmentel-2024: An invitation to international cooperation

At the end of his speech, the head of the Turkmenaragatsnaşyk agency invited representatives of states and organizations participating in the international conference to take part in the international exhibition and scientific conference "Turkmentelecom-2024", which will be held in Ashgabat from November 14 to 16, 2024.

Bilateral and expanded meetings

Within the framework of the conference, meetings of the Turkmen delegation with the heads of the telecommunications sector of the CIS member countries were held both in a bilateral format and in an expanded composition.

During the meetings, issues of exchanging experience in the use of the latest world developments in the field of information and digital technologies and developing cooperation in this direction were discussed.
