On June 4, Kazakhstan solemnly celebrates the Day of State Symbols, kazakhstan today reports.

On this day in 1992, the country’s flag, coat of arms and anthem were approved, which became integral attributes of its sovereignty and identity.

The national flag Is a blue cloth with an image in the center of the sun with rays, under which an eagle soars. At the flagpole there is a vertical stripe with a national ornament.

The state emblem has the shape of a circle and depicts a shanyrak on a blue background, from which rays in the form of sun rays radiate in all directions. To the right and left of the shanyrak (the structural element crowning the dome of the yurt in the form of a lattice cross inscribed in the rim) are images of mythical winged horses.

The national anthem, previously known as the song “Menin Kazakhstan”, was approved in 2006. The music of the anthem belongs to the composer Shamshi Kaldayakov, the words to the poets Zhumeken Nazhimedenov and Nursultan Nazarbayev.
