The Turkmenhowayollary agency will organize 10 special flights to transport Turkmen pilgrims to Saudi Arabia as part of the 2024 Hajj season. This decision was made in accordance with the Order of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The official website of the agency reports this.
“We would like to inform you that during the 2024 pilgrimage season, 10 special flights are planned to operate to and from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will transport 2 890 pilgrims.
Thus, during the Hajj season of this year, special flights organized by the Turkmenhowayollary agency will be operated from June 1 to July 9, 2024.
It should be noted that to transport an official group of 289 compatriots to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and back, the Turkmenhowayollary agency of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan was instructed to organize a special flight at its own expense,” the source notes.
