Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan continue to actively develop trade and economic cooperation. This is facilitated by the activities of the “Astana” Diplomatic Club, which regularly organizes business missions and business tours for entrepreneurs of the two countries.
Last year, the club successfully conducted two business missions of Kazakh businessmen to Turkmenistan. In February 2024, a return trip of Turkmen entrepreneurs to Astana took place.
The capital of Kazakhstan was not chosen for the business mission by chance. Astana is a dynamically developing business, political and financial center of the country with a high standard of living. The city attracts both professionals who want to implement their ideas and investors, thanks to its growing market (population of more than 1,5 million people) and high demand for goods and services.
Business mission goals:
- introduce Turkmen entrepreneurs to the business and investment potential of Astana and Almaty.
- establish direct contacts between businessmen of the two countries.
- find new partners and conclude mutually beneficial contracts.
Within the framework of the business mission, meetings with representatives of government bodies and Kazakh businessmen, visits to industrial enterprises and other business events are planned.
