Govshut Akmyradov, a 3rd year student at the Faculty of Cyberphysical Systems of the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan, took 1st place in the XII International Olympiad in General Physics “Ion I. Agarbiceanu”, which was held among engineering students in the capital of Romania.
According to “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the Olympiad included 2 areas – classical and modern physics, which included theoretical and practical rounds. Govshut Akmyradov won the competition in modern physics.
The Olympiad was held on May 18 by the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, where a Turkmen delegation consisting of professors, teachers and students of the Oguz Han University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan was on a working visit.
Students from leading specialized universities from eight countries took part in the prestigious international competition.
