A 59-year-old Japanese man was arrested after hitting his 62-year-old wife in the head with a banana peel.
As gazeta.ru reports with reference to Mothership, the woman herself went to the police, saying that her husband was intoxicated, insulted her and had already used “fruit” violence.
Law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene interrogated the rowdy, and he, to his shame, admitted his guilt.
The man explained that the cause of the conflict was a neighbor who parked his car incorrectly on their property. He wanted to deal with him peacefully, but his wife tried her best to dissuade him. Angry, he lashed out at her, using the first thing he could get his hands on—a banana peel.
The Japanese also got into an altercation with the police, saying that this was a “purely family matter” and they had no business prying into it.
The police noted that the incident is currently being investigated, and the man will definitely answer for his actions - both for assault and domestic violence.
