“Bridge to the Future 2024” is the name of the forum of youth leaders of China and Central Asia, in which the Turkmen delegation, consisting of representatives of the Magtymguly youth organization of Turkmenistan and young specialists from various industries, takes part.
The forum is taking place in China on the territory of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Shaanxi Province from May 15 to 22, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”
Representatives of Turkmenistan took an active part in discussions on topics such as “Green Energy and Youth Innovation” and “Green Agriculture with Youth Participation”. The representative of the Turkmen delegation in his speech spoke about the work to develop “green” agriculture in the country, the wide opportunities created for youth, and emphasized the importance of developing cooperation between youth.
During a visit to the Xinjiang Agricultural Exhibition Park, forum delegates got acquainted with the achievements of “green” agriculture in China and greenhouses created on the basis of new technologies.
Participants also visited museums in China's Xinjiang region, visited a branch office of a Chinese automaker, and visited an international land cargo port and the Urumqi International Light Industry Trade Center.
The forum was organized by the All-China Youth Federation of the People's Republic of China in accordance with the initiative put forward by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the summit in honor of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the five countries of Central Asia, the source notes.
