The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Turkmenistan, in collaboration with the UNDP Knowledge Project, is joining the FutureSkills4All initiative, which will expand employment opportunities for youth and women in the country.

This skills development initiative will reach at least 660 young people from Turkmenistan who will have access to the industry-leading online learning platform Coursera, where they will be able to undertake a variety of training programs to acquire in-demand job skills.

In addition to access to online courses, students will also receive guidance and mentorship from local experts to help them improve their coping skills and build resilience.

FutureSkills4All offers 3 main areas to choose from:

• Transferable skills (such as communication and problem solving);
• Entrepreneurial skills (eg business planning and marketing);
• Professional/technical skills (industry specific).

Students can choose an industry that matches their interests and career goals. In addition to the core areas, participants can explore a range of topics and acquire specialized skills in areas such as globalization, economic growth, artificial intelligence, basic digital skills, accounting, marketing, human resources, IT support, cloud computing, UX/UI design , cybersecurity, project management, renewable energy, sustainable cities and more.

To register to participate in FutureSkills4All, UNDP offers the following methods:
