President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council, at which the results of the work of military and law enforcement agencies for the first four months of 2024 were summed up. The head of state gave instructions on organizing celebrations dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, which will be held on May 9 in Ashgabat and velayats, TDH writes.
At the meeting, reports were heard from the heads of law enforcement agencies on the work done and the implementation of previously given instructions from the head of state.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the need for strict adherence to the law, ensuring law and order and public safety.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of modernizing the judicial system, introducing digital technologies into the work of law enforcement agencies, strengthening human resources and increasing the professionalism of employees. The head of state gave specific instructions on improving the activities of each department.
Summing up the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that in accordance with the defensive Military Doctrine of Turkmenistan, measures are being taken to ensure a high level of security and integrity of an independent neutral state. Priority attention is paid to strengthening the country's defense capability and improving the social and living conditions of military personnel and their families.
